Watched the Cubs last year whilst visiting family in Chicago..
Loved it, good drink & Wrigley field as a great, atmospheric stadium, not sure the best way to get the tickets as my uncle had sorted them out quite a way in advance from the official box office I think...

Directly from the Cubs box office, I've never used Stubhub or the like so can't vouch for them.

What's the best way to get tickets? Through to official site? Or I have seen stubhub which seems to have cheap tickets going?

Best seats are behind home plate, get a load of foul balls which you're allowed to keep if you get one

Cheers Ontario, I noticed the Blackhawks were out. I was gutted because NHL would have been top of my list!

Re: Chicago sports events tickets
Good choice, the Cubs; this is our year. Longest losing streak in North American sports is over.

Games are about 3 hours, give or take. Try to get tickets along the first base line, though I just had a quick look and the seats I'm thinking of are $119 apiece. A little higher up on the same line cost $75, which isn't so bad.

Too bad the Blackhawks are out of the playoffs or you could've seen the closest thing to a dynasty in recent hockey history.

The Chicago Fire are away to Vancouver that week, so they're out.

You could go have a look at Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.

That leaves you with the White Sox, but they're a bunch of cunts.
